"A&E PRH TELFORD"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

As an anxious parent with an 18 month old with croup I attended A&E on a Sunday evening. I was worried regarding her erratic breathing and awful barking cough, home remedies weren't working so I made the decision to come to the hospital. Even though my daughter wasn't admitted to a ward I was reassured through whole process and cared for by A&E capable staff. From the triage nurse, doctor and the two wonderful nurses I felt cared for (as did my daughter who was completely oblivious to the stress she was causing me! ) I was made a cup of tea (well needed at 4am! ! ) and the nurses, although busy, took their time to ask questions and care for my daughter. After we left I got a phone call the next day to inform me we had left our peppa pig cuddly toy! I thought I'd lost it but that's how attentive the staff are. Thank you so much to the staff ! You are super stars: )

Thank you so much for your lovely comments.

As a parent I can appreciate how distressing it must have been for you and do hope that your little one is now feeling better.
