What I liked
the staff were friendly and the dr was extremely helpful and polite he recognised that the child should have been seen sooner, however the nurse was very blunt and million miles away directed the questions at myself rather than the childs mother the security staff could be heard making jokes about the swine flu pandemic and patients who was brought in with injury induced by drinking and fighting
What could be improved
i dont think the drs should be questioned on why they are admitting a certain patient which resulted in the delay on admission. i could hear the dr being challenged as to why this child was being admitted
Anything else?
we waited for over 3 hours for a 1 year old to be admitted after severe dehydration. it doesnt matter what time of the day it may have been there is no need for abruptness each patient should be treated individaully with care and respect.
