"Bowel Cancer Treatment."

About: York Hospital

Last December (2014) I was operated on to remove cancer in my bowel and other cancers that had spread throughout my reproductive organs, abdomen and liver. The surgeons were brilliant and probably saved my life. I have since had nine chemotherapy/biological treatments and my last scan showed that there was no cancer present - an amazing response. The staff in the oncology unit are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Treatment continues and for me returning to the unit is almost a pleasurable experience - I feel that I am in safe hands! Thanks be to God.
