"No communication - Phoning Leicester Hospitals"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

I have been trying for 2 days to get through to the Royal Infirmary via 03003001573, but without success. My husband was told on discharge 3 weeks ago he needed an outpatients test within 2 weeks but we have not heard anything.

I now am forced to visit the hospital to sort this out.

As everyone knows LRI parking is unsatisfactory to say the least. i must allow 2 hours for something which could be sorted out in minutes.

I feel very sorry for folk who are anxious about their relatives but cannot get through on the phone.

Something need to be done!

Thank you for posting your comment. We are sorry that you have had trouble contacting us. If you have been trying to contact the Hospital switchboard via that number you may have been given the wrong number by one digit. Just to confirm, the main switchboard is available on 0300 303 1573. The switchboard team have told us that they have not had any faults as of late so please try giving them a call again.
