I just wanted to say a very big thankyou to all the staff at Arrowe Park A & E after having to take my poorly little boy, up at 12.30am early hours Monday morning (28th Sept) with croup. The A&E team were very quick and attentive! Having not seen the affects of croup on someone before it was very scary to witness as a mum and I'm really thankful for how well the staff looked after us. I especially would like to thank the nurse who was going off duty at the time but went out of their way to see to us anyway and make sure my son was ok instead of just leaving us to wait at reception!

We recognise how distressing it must have been for you bringing your little boy here with croup, so we are delighted that our staff were able to help you both so well. We are proud of the care and service provided by our staff.

Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated.
