"My privacy and dignity were respected ..."

What I liked

My privacy and dignity were respected at all times, the ward was exceptionally clean and all staff from the consultants to the cleaners were pleasant and worked as a team at all times, all my concerns were adressed appropriatly and by knowledgeable staff.

What could be improved

The ward was very warm and because of the lighting I found it difficult to sleep at night.

Anything else?

I was in hospital for a total hysterctomy and was very worried at the time, I was soon put at ease when I went to theatre by the nurses. After coming round from my surgery everthing was explained to me, as there had been complications, and again the next morning when I felt more with it by the consultant. My husband was also telephoned by the consultant and everthing was explained to him as well. I am now recovering well at home.
