"Thank you is not enough"

I was in SRH between 11/09-14/09. I cannot thank the maternity staff enough for the care I received. Although the birth of my son was not straight forward, all the staff within the delivery suite & maternity ward were fantastic. The midwives & student midwives are incredibly knowledgeable & supported me & my husband during a very difficult weekend. After the birth we had lots of help & support with our son & felt like I had one on one care whenever I needed it. My husband was able to stay throughout the whole time & one midwife even sourced a fold out bed so he could stay with me overnight. Particular mentions & thank you to the Midwives. The two registrars/doctors who performed my emergency c section, all the theatre staff & anethnitist who tried to keep me calm throughtout the surgery. Also a massive thank you to all the nightshift teams who helped me with my newborn when my husband was at home. The only downside to my stay was the exorbitant parking fees.
