For an update on care anytime they said

Well actually don't bother because they will just hang up on you! 24 hours sat on the phone trying to get an update and not one reply just pick up hang up.

I know they are busy but families are worried. If you cant take calls dont tell people to call!

AMU ward - disgraceful!

Effective Communication and keeping patients families well informed at all the times is vital for patient care and It is our professional responsibility to ensure that this occurs. Your concerns have been shared with the Nursing, medical and admin staff and the importance of answering telephones has been reiterated.
