"Help with alcohol problems after hospital admission"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Drug and alcohol service

(as a volunteer/advocate),

6 years ago I managed to stop drinking but then I had a relapse. I feel very depressed and feel like I have let myself down. There is more to life than drinking all day. My problem started off mild, just a couple of cans a day but then turned to Whiskey, I drank to control the shakes, it's a vicious circle.

After being admitted to hospital for pancreatitis caused by the alcohol I had contact with the hospital alcohol service which was good as I got a good insight into what help is out there for me to seek what I need.
