There are currently 10 ambulances outside of QA......... When being admitted a couple of weeks ago, stretchers in the corridors seem to be all too common these days. Although my sister has been told she can now go home after 6 days as an inpatient, she is unable to go before getting the necessary medication she needs............ I suspect there are still patients in the corridors waiting for beds...... Perhaps some help for the pharmacy to get the meds out more quickly might free up the beds sooner and prevent the backlog of patients ?
