"If going after 4pm Mon-Fri ring to see if..."

Arrived at 4.05pm on a Thursday only to be told that they always review the number of patients at 4pm and, if they will be kept busy by them until 5pm, they don't accept new patients. They had done this and no new patients being accepted.

We either had to go to Hull A&E or come back in the morning.

If known of 'review' would have rung before going, and/or gone to A&E (saving 20 miles and 75min).

Have raised issue with PALS.
