I had a hysterectomy here on 23rd Sept. I wish to thank my consultant and their secretary, who was always friendly and re-assuring when speaking to me. The op was not without complications - thankfully I knew nothing of this till it was over- so thank you to all theatre staff and those on ward B4. I met some staff in the rapid access gynae clinic and everyone was kind, helpful and professional. I was a very nervous patient and everyone did their best to put me at ease. Thank you and well done to the NHS and Russells Hall Hospital. PS, to anyone awaiting an op - it's not as bad as you think, please try to worry less, easy to say I know.
