"Ward 1 review"

As a first timer in need of major surgery the thought of attending hospital was so daunting that for 2-3 years I used delaying tactics, but I shouldn't have worried whatsoever. The care & professionalism given by FGH staff was first class. My thanks goes out to all the consultants, operating staff, anaesthetist, ward 1 nurses, admin/reception, cleaning & catering staff. Their caring, considerate and friendly attitude put me at ease immediately from the moment I stepped onto the ward.

I was given my own room which was immaculately clean & well presented.

At all stages through my admission I was well informed about what was happening, procedures & results.

I am now doing fine & well on the road to recovery.
