With a complicated medical history and paraplegia I have found previous hospital stays varied in terms of care quality however I found on this occasion that my needs were met comprehensively.
I entered A and E on Monday 21st September and was seen promptly my staff who addressed my pain. I was transferred to ward 14 and couldn't have been happier with treatment and care by staff.
The ward sister led by example and was exceptional as were all of those involved. Staff listened to me, asked my opinion and let me do what was comfortable for me on what was a very busy ward.
I was discharged on Friday 25th September and would like to give my gratitude to those who made a very difficult time that little bit easier. Thank you all.
