"sister rushed in hospital"

I am wondering why brooklands fail to tell me that my sister as been rushed into hospital and had an operation, yet not told me her appendix burst she could have died yet you don't think this is important enough to tell me ??

We are sorry you have not received the response you might have expected from our service. We do have procedures in place to notify next of kin should the circumstances of any patient require family to be informed. These arrangements are either agreed with the patient concerned where they have capacity, or agreed in their best interest for patients lacking capacity.
