"bobby moore unit"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

Well I have been to the bobby moore unit this morning and I am disgusted the way I have been treated I went into the room to be greeted by a nurse to be told your gown is on the bed and the doctor will be in in a minute so I got changed and waited for the doctor the doctor came in asked me 2 questions about my family history then told to me to lie down while they felt the lump for 1 second then had a quick soft feel of my breast and i mentioned changes in my breast the doctor quickly lifted the gown up and had a 1 second look and told me thats normal and your to young for a scan so it wouldnt tell them anything and told me there's no problems your free to go and walked out the room as they were saying your free to go and I had more questions to ask but they had gone in such a rush there was no nurses about giving me reassurance I was left to get dressed and leave the doctor was in the room for about 2 minutes tops so I have not been given any peace of mind from this breast clinic and it has been a worrying 2 weeks for me and my family to only be at the unit for about 15 minutes and 12 minutes of that was waiting in the waiting area and they couldn't be bothered ultra sounding me to give me peace of mind so I have now been back in touch with my gp who is referring me to another hospital and he said he isn't happy in the way i have been treated and I have lost all faith in stepping hill the staff in the bobby moore unit made me feel like I was wasting there time I will never go back to stepping hill hospital.
