"Great care for my 1 year old with a chest..."

About: University Hospital (Coventry)

We were brought to UHCW in an ambulance as my daughter was struggling with her oxygen levels.

The staff were calming, professional, thorough, prompt and friendly.

We had no waiting time and the same nurse and doctor from triage onwards.

Everyone we met both took her illness seriously but managed to be reassuring and comforting at the same time.

We were discharged within 2 hours.

Thank you to all the staff and the NHS, free at the point of access as of 24/09/2015.

I’m pleased to read how you found our staff “calming, professional, thorough, prompt and friendly” at what I imagine was a very worrying time for you and your daughter. I’m also very pleased to read how your duaghter were seen quickly and that you were reassured by our team who were caring for your daughter.

I have passed on your comments to the Group Manager and Modern Matron for the department so they can share your kind words with the team.

The Trust is grateful for all feedback, positive or negative, as it means we can better understand what is important to our patients, and your kind comments will be shared with the relevant staff.
