I have been into the delivery suite twice recently first instance to be sat there waiting for three hours only to be told the receptionist hadn't signed us in, the consultant was then very rude and rather patronising, the second time the midwives were lovely offered my partner food and a drink as we'd been waiting awhile due to being busy (which I can understand) however the midwife that reviewed me did not explain to me why I could not feel my baby moving and just said it was all okay and to go home gave me my notes and that was that, and finally when I was very concerned over going into preterm labour and called to speak to a midwife I was told that a midwife would call me back however two hours later I called again only to be told a midwife hadn't called me back as the receptionist had made notes but not passed them on, the midwife then did not let me explain the situation, tried to tell me I had an infection (which I was well aware was not the issue) and then said not to worry and call back if my baby stops moving or I am bleeding, I am shocked and appalled by the service I've recieved and frankly worries me about the care I will get when I do go into labour.
"Awful service"
