"First time mummy and lonely"

Becoming a first time mum I thought it was going to be a breeze and that I knew all I needed to know about babies, turns out I barely knew anything at all and being the only person within my social circle to have a baby I became rather lonely and confused on how to help my baby progress.

Then we was introduced to baby massage at Pleasley Hill Children's Centre at first I was very nervous and shy as I am not very confident in meeting new people, but all the staff and other massage member were extremely welcoming made me feel part of the group instantly which was a huge relief from that session we also joined an afternoon playgroup with lots of other mums this has boosted my confidence immensely my baby enjoys play time with other babies and I'm able to gain knowledge from experienced mums in how to help my baby's progress I no longer feel alone I am very grateful to have a centre like Pleasley Hill Children's Centre at the top of my road it's easy to get to and a lovely relaxing place to be.
