"Haematology department - my experience"

About: University Hospital Lewisham

I have received regular treatment for over a year from the hematology department and have always found the staff to be approachable, considerate and respectful.

I have always felt well-supported and have been given good advice about how to take care of myself in the lead-up to treatment and after treatment.

The environment is comfortable and clean and is not far from a first-floor restaurant which provides hand-made sandwiches and baguettes with tasty fillings.

I don't enjoy having treatment because it is not comfortable, but I am very grateful for the excellent care and attention that I am given by the clinical and administrative staff.
