"Refferal from The Royal Marsden."

After treatment at the Royal Marsden I was referred back to Kingston Hospital but never got my appointment. After waiting weeks for the referral appointment I contacted the cancer specialist nurse at the Marsden to see if they could find out what had happened. They called me back and told me the date and time of my appointment at kingston Hospital.

When I attended they were confused as they had sent all my paperwork - appointments and copies of letters sent about me etc to someone else who didnt have cancer. This seemed to have been sorted out but two days later I got a phone call asking for this other woman to set up another appointment for a scan.i was the one to have a scan but they still were using her name. We got this sorted but six months down the line I went for a sceduled blood test and couldn't get it done because they'd lost the Doctors request, supposed to be on computor. This took me several hours of being bounced from one department to the other to finally getting it sorted out and the blood test taken. Today I attended my appointment to find that the two tests I took a month ago were not on the system (computor) so if they can't be traced I have to repeat them again. It takes a month or more to get the results of these tests and in the meantime I just wonder if the cancer I had has recurred. This is not acceptable.
