"My outpatient experience"

Yesterday I attended the Endoscopy unit as an outpatient and want to pass along my thanks for the caring, considerate, professional treatment that I received from all of the staff in the unit. I highly recommend Southend Hospital in particular and the NHS in general. The many negative reports I read and hear about our health system do not reflect my experiences in any way, shape or form. We should be proud and appreciative of the service and the people who work in it.

Please note, however, that the recorded phone call received today asking about my experience at the hospital provided no response other than via texting. I do not have a mobile phone and had therefore to seek another mode of communication to express my view.
