"Total knee replacement Ward 3"

About: Hexham General Hospital

I had a total knee replacement on 19.9.15 Due to unforeseen circumstances the op took place later in the day than planned. My husband was allowed to stay with me until I went to theatre

I was kept informed throughout. The theatre staff and all my post op care was first class. Staff came immediately if I pulled the call cord. They reassured me if I had any concered. They provided pain relief as necessary. I couldn't fault any part of my care. The ward is more like a hotel than a hospital. Excellent throughout.
