What I liked

The triage nurse listened to me when I explained my complicated pre-existing chronic pain conditions and medication experience - normally with a joint displacement one would have been given tramadol or similar, I was given oral morphine and was not patronised by him when I explained that I knew what was wrong with the subluxated joint and that it had happened before.

What could be improved

A few minutes after having given oral morphine I ended up in a 10/10 level of pain. After my X-ray I was left in a cubicle alone, unable to move from pain and just out of reach of the gas-and-air mask I had been left. I ended up on the cold floor, in excruciating pain, unable to stop arching, as if my head and knees were trying to come together from behind - and nobody bothered to figure out why because I had "already been given morphine" and was known to have fibromyalgia and hypermobility syndromes. All they did was leave me in there like that for over an hour - on a quiet night! - before someone came in to ask me to call my emergency contact to take me home. I could barely manage *that* at the time, and neither then or since have I learned why I had such a bad reaction.

Anything else?

I've been treated at MRI A&E several times now, and it has never been clean. The seats are hard, uncushioned metal, and some of them are barely out of the draught from the automatic doors, which on a winter night is vicious.
