"Physiotherapy Referral - Shoulder"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I was referred for this to try and avoid surgery- got my letter and told to ring 4 days after my appointment. Did so- no details received, told to ring back in a few days did so but now told to ring another number because of my postcode. Did so still no details been received- tried hospital orthopaedics secretary's got answer phone on holiday for a week.

Tried my GP no info on any referral for me

Back to outpatients dept told try ext 6570 another answer phone no joy.

Tried hospital again to be put through to the answer phone again.

Its two weeks tomorrow since I saw consultant and have just read on the bottom of the letter that if I haven't contacted them within two weeks I will be discharged off the list!

I have now given up - so no physio for me and when I go back in 4 months it will probably be surgery which we all wanted to avoid.

Up until this point the care at the hospital has been excellent
