"My Care on ward 48D"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I was admitted to have a operation on Thursday 10th September 2015. I would just like to say that I found my care in hospital to be excellent. From my admittance on the day before I went for my operation was very good everything was explained to me in normal terms, where I could understand everything that was going to happen to me. After being taken down for my operation the people looking after me were very caring and professional. One particular member of staff who was in the recovery dept after my operation was such a caring person, and looked after me with such care - thank you. Then I was admitted onto ward 48D and all I can say is they were brilliant, caring and a had great sense of humor. Nothing was too much bother to them. The ward was very clean and tidy the food was good, and everyone from the staff who cleaned the ward to the nurses who looked after me and the physios who helped me, were just great, thank you so very much, you all made my stay in hospital a very positive experience and I hope the people who collect this information will pass on my thanks to all of the people who did a great job of looking after me.
