About: West Park Hospital

my wife has been given the run around were at the same stage now as 17 months ago apart from a change in medication that had an adverse reaction, nothing.

we arrive for appointments and they don't even have my wife's notes so we have to try and explain what the problems are all over again its got to the stage that my wife does not want to attend appointments but with some coaxing she attends, but on the last visit after sitting in the waiting area we got a call at the front desk from a secretary saying the care coordinator we were supposed to see was off sick after we had waited a lengthy period whilst they were off on annual leave and we were not even notified they were off sick. my wife is having such a hard time at the moment and i need support but all we are getting is a big fat nothing.

We are very sorry to hear about your recent experience at West Park Hospital. This is not the level of service and care we would expect to be provided and can only apologise for the events that occurred.

This feedback has been shared with the Senior Managers responsible for this area who are reviewing how patients are notified of staff sickness to avoid this happening again in the future.

We would very much like to understand more about your experience so that we can make further improvements and to see what support can be offered to you and your wife at this difficult time.
