(as the patient),

I agreed with my Rheumatology consultant that I required an MRI scan. I was on holiday for two weeks immediately after my appointment with him, but on my return I had received an appointment for the following Sunday morning. By the Saturday of that same week I had a letter from my consultant giving me the results and recommending the next stage in my treatment. How quick was that! Excellent attention.

I am delighted to hear of the excellent attention you received from your Rheumatology Consultant and that our MRI service fitted in well with your personal plans. We run the MRI service at the weekends, as this provides more capacity for scanning patients as well as giving greater flexibility to patients who may not be able to attend during the week.
