"A and E visit"

I am writing to express my thanks for the excellent care and attention I received during my time in A and E.

I did not have long to wait for an initial assessment, and was very grateful for the thoroughness of the doctor's examination and for the subsequent tests.

All staff I had contact with were polite, caring and friendly.

I have been fortunate not to need emergency care before, and so I found the hospital environment initially a little scary, but I was put at some ease very quickly.
