"incompetent service at the emergency"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

How can an emergency department manage to lose the blood sample of a patient who was brought to the hospital by ambulance after an unfortunate fainting in public? After an 8 hours (!!) of waiting while sitting on a chair in the waiting lounge though you are sick and in the most simplest case you just need a good rest but you need it (!!), you are ridiculously told that they can not find the blood sample to run the tests. They just send you away after checking blood pressure, and apologise, and thats it. Taking another vial of blood during or at the end of these 8 hours was not possible?? Can not you send the results later during the day to cover up for your mistake? An emergency department must not be sending out the patient without checking everything that must be done to confirm that the patient is well enough. In a possible failure in the health of the patient due to this incident would they be responsible? They should, but I don't expect it from such emergency staff. Totally surprised about such incompetent and careless attitude.
