"Good Care but ..."

About: Doddington Hospital

The care I had was very good and the place seemed clean and tidy. My comment is about the piped music. It was tuned into the local radio station which was mostly adverts and so loud that I didn't hear when the nurse called my name. When I asked why it was on I was told the staff like it and when I said it was too loud I was told that no one else had complained ( the were no other people in the waiting room). Do we really have to have music on in hospital's,doctor's surgeries or health centre. When your feeling poorly having to listen to someone else's choice of music (or in this case adverts) doesn't help

I was pleased to read that your were happy with the level of cleaning and the care your received.

I'm sorry that you were unhappy with the type of music that was being played and the level of sound.

The comment that "no one else had complained about the music" was disappointing.

All comments and suggestions regarding any service should be treated on an individual basis and patient comments should be treated seriously.

Please be assured that I will be sharing your message with the service lead for Minor Injuries and I will ask the team to reflect on your feedback and ask them to make reasonable adjustments based on the feedback they receive.
