I went to the hospital after breaking my waters and, as it was Easter Sunday, the hospital had not enough staff to look after the patients decently.
I have been waiting for almost an hour before being seen by a midwife who didn't even realise I was in labour.
I had my baby a couple of hours later. There was only one midwife looking after me and they were a very young and un-experienced one. As they didn't realise I was in active labour, they told me I was going to have the baby the morning after, but I had my little girl half an hour later. I suffered from a third degree tear and lost 1.5 litres of blood as a consequence and the surgeon who stitched me up has done a terrible job. In fact,
I was stitched too tight and need surgery once again (I had my baby 6 months ago). Finally, I would like to point out they had no decent rooms available and don't let at least one person stay with you overnight to look after your baby, even though you are not able to do it yourself.
"I would not recommend it at all"
