I was in for 10 am for an 11am op. I didn't walk down to theatre until 2:30pm (the only negative). Whilst waiting I met the surgeon for a 2nd time who reassured me I was going to be fine despite how scared I was. My knee operation (acl reconstruction) went well as far as the surgeon was concerned. The following day I had physiotherapy and an x-ray and then was allowed home. The nurses were pleasant and one helped me get to the toilet holding my hospital gown out of the way. The chef came in and took my order and did a really good job of the corning pasty I had!
A special thanks to all of the nurses and the surgeon it is greatly appreciated!
"Friendly staff, reassuring surgeon and nice food!"
