What I liked
The room was clean and when spoken to the nurses were very friendly. I was admitted after an attempted suicide. I was very upset when my husband had to leave me and walked with him outside and watched him drive away. As it was very late at night I had to use the A&E entrance to go outside and get back in. On my way bak in I was told off by a nurse for no being in my ward even though I was clearly upset. When I got back to the ward I was completly ignored except for a patiant who tried to console me. I finally fell into an uneasy sleep only to be woken up very early. I was then wondering in and out of my ward all morning waiting for my husband. When he arrived we were waiting for the doctor but wanted to go for a cig so I told the nurses who told me I wasn't allowed out of the ward. I informed them that I had been out of the ward about 5 times that morning. This showed their observation skills on a suicidal patient!!!
What could be improved
Observations and maybe a kind word now and then for new patients !!
Anything else?
I do like the hospital and have always had nice experiences mixed with bad ones but this one experience always sticks in my mind
"The room was clean and when spoken ..."
