"Pleaase sort out rheumatology"

This is really becoming a joke. My wife is in a lot of pain with her arthritis and has been told that she can contact them anytime if her medication isn't doing the job or shes had a new problem come up. After upteen attempts to get through to the rheumatology, we are starting to give up. a few months back it was because her specialist was on "annual leave" so needed to speak to whoever was covering. Guess what? They were also on "annual leave". Now we are trying to get an urgent appointment again, we are getting no answer from reception after being put through by the main reception. So decided to call another number which continuously rings until you get cut off.

This department needs seriously sorting out!!!

Staff themselves when we have been able to see them in the past have been polite and helpful.
