I was booked in to have a cardiac ablation procedure last week. Upon arrival we were greeted nicely and promptly shown to our beds. Within a short time I was attended to by a lovely nurse called who went through the general nursing procedure. The operation I had, although slightly complicated and with unexpected slight pain, was completely successful. I was really impressed by the work and expertise of all in the unit who sorted my issue out easily and without panicking. Another nurse really looked after me during the procedure, and was fantastic for my discharge that same day. These two nurses, as I'm sure the others are too, were wonderful and made me feel as relaxed as possible for what was my first ever medical intervention, and I'm so thankful to them for making my stay as enjoyable as possible :)
