I was referred in late 2014, I had to wait till April to be seen by a consultant as this was the earliest appointment available, I was then referred to a surgeon who I finally saw in July after several appointment rescheduling. I was then seen by the x-ray department, they told me I would be contacted by my surgeon as soon as possible, it as now been several weeks without a word from the hospital, this is very distressing as I am unable to make future plans as I do not know when I will be having my surgery as the department are not very good at sticking to appointments and keeping patients informed.
