What I liked

The theatre staff were exceptionally kind and understanding and the porters are a credit to Stepping Hill.

What could be improved

Communication was very poor, my family repeatedly asked for information on my condition and were fobbed of with remarks such as - she is not my patient or I am to busy and the worst excuse was you will have to make an appointment to see the Doctor!

Anything else?

The toilets on the ward were very dirty and even when staff were told nobody cleaned them. I had to wait a long time for pain relief up to an hour sometimes, this is not acceptable.
