Ron was transferred from Boston confused and with bad headaches...he arrived with my mother age 82 and it was a very stressful time for them both ...he was on D11 and needed. Blood clot removed in his head ...due to having taken thinning tablets the operation was for his safety put back a little ..and the next day the sister whom was keeping an eye on him noticed a decline and the operation had to go ahead after platelets put into his system ..all the staff were brilliant and the surgeon's very good explaining everything...so thankyou all ...then on D9 after the op (29th Aug) everyone looked after him very well..and were always considerate to my mother who was far from her home ...in 3 days he was back home and had an amazing recovery...credit is well deserved to all the amazing staff ,surgeons...and cleaners etc ..great food too an plenty of it to get one back on the road to recovery ...a successful end to a traumatic time ...and not forgetting food at reasonable prices and handy shop all a big help when the visitors need a little respite .
