"Life changing!"

Needed a second opinion after an NHS neurologist, told me 'I have no idea what is wrong with you, but it's not neurological'.

They were completely correct - in that the cause of my condition is not neurological, but 'no idea' is very unhelpful. Booked at the Montefiore because of the short wait, and the consultant was able to offer an alternative explanation of my symptoms. It was such a relief to hear about a diagnosis that really described my problems. Understanding what is actually wrong with you, may not mean that 'a cure' is available, but it certainly allows you to develop coping strategies that can prove life changing.
