"Good quality care"

About: Borders General Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

Daughter jumped off a wall(! ) and hurt her ankle. Tried rest, ice, compression and elevation overnight but very sore and wouldn't walk on it this morning. Took her to Borders General Hospital emergency department where she was seen quickly, x-rayed and given tubing rip and crutches with advice it would be looked at by orthopaedic surgeon the next day to check ok as they couldn't see anything that day.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience, I very much appreciate it. I will make sure the department receive a copy of your comments which I know they will be delighted to see.

I hope your daughter is feeling better and managing with her crutches.
