Nurses were brilliant, hospital is clean .I thought at the time it was good. However when things were going wrong a few days later I rang the hospital number I was given for help advice and was told to see my GP. My GP wrote a letter to A&E .I was seen and given a scan no blood clots thank goodness .But a very large painful haemetoma in my upper inside leg, bruises 14" across and down to my knee. I was told the blood had not been cleared out after the vein was pulled out.I was to expect serious pain for 4 to six weeks and given strong pain relief.
The incision in groin has not healed after 12 days and there is a solid lump behind it which means it it very difficult and painful to put the anti embolism stockings on. I am concerned all is not well with this incision . I do not know how to get someone to speak to at wharfedale so I am hoping someone reads this . It is no good giving a phone to call if no help is available . I admit I am afraid
