About: Southend Hospital

I unfortunately was admitted to the Surgical Assessment Unit yesterday via A & E.

From the minute I stepped into A&E to the minute I was discharged from SAU I was treated efficiently and with care by a wonderful team of staff.

Thank you to everybody that I met yesterday, I was in a great deal of pain and distress and you were all wonderful.

It made me proud to be a member of Southend Hospital staff.
