What I liked

The quickness of my appointment. I made it through Choose and Book on the 29th June and the appointment was for 10th July

What could be improved

The communication between the Consultation, the nurses and myself. I left the consulting room having to go for bloods - no-one told me where to go for them, I had to ask. I also left not knowing if I had to make another appointment to see the consultant. He had said that I needed to have a pelvic scan but did not say if I needed to go and make that appointment or if I would receive it through the post and he also mentioned that he would write to a specialist nurse but didn't confirm this or clarify when I could expect to receive an appointment to see her.

Anything else?

The consultant was on his own - not sure why, and had 6 new patients and 6 follow up patients to see - no-one explained that there would be a delay and I actually got to see him 1 hour after my appointment time. Maybe a little more communication would help restless patients in the waiting room in future.
