I had our little boy on 28/8/15 at the maternity unit at city hospital.
From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left with our little boy the care was faultless.
We were taken to a lovely room which I believe is part of the sanctuary birthing centre. It was very nice and relaxing and helped to make me feel comfortable.
I was lucky enough to have the same midwife with me throughout my labour, this midwife was very supportive and caring. We really couldn't have asked for a better person.
Even towards the end when I had to go to theatre the staff that were involved in that process were brilliant too. Theatre seemed such a scary place, especially after going from a calming room but the staff made me feel safe and all were excellent.
Special thank you again to the midwife who was there from start to finish, we can't thank you enough. Also thank you to the theatre staff. You all made the labour experience a positive one and we thank you all for safely delivering our baby boy into the world.
"Positive experience."
