"discharge"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (London)

I cannot fault the treatment I received for the 6 days I was an inpatient.

However it took over 3 hours to get my discharge papers and medicine although the staff where aware that I was booked for a CT scan. It was a absolute fiasco and only by intervention of a senior member of the nursing staff was the problem resolved.

I was very late for my scan but they fitted me in.

No porters or wheelchairs where available to take me to xray. If this had been a private business they would have been out for total inability to deal with a minor problem.

I was on the point of discharging myself and going elsewhere for my scan. Nobody needs this aggro when not feeling very well.
