"I feel safer having carers"

About: North Ayrshire Council - Three Towns, North Coast and Arran

(as a service user),

I moved to sheltered housing in October. The social worker came to my house and decided that carers would help me. I now have carers who help me shower, dress, put my cream on and take my pills. I’m happy with the service, it’s fine.

I feel safer now because I know I’m getting my pills, I sometimes forgot. Also if I’m not well there is someone who will help me and phone the doctor and make sure I’m ok.

It’s the same girls that come every day unless it’s their day off; they are trustworthy, honest and reliable.

Dear fred74

Thank you for your comments regarding your care at home service.

I am glad the carers are making a difference, they make you feel safe and that you are happy with the service being provided.

Kind regards

Louise
