"Friendly and Polite Staff / Quick Treatment"

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

Had to visit the Urgent Care Centre with an injury that required an x-ray

I didn't particularly like the queuing system to be seen initially and if the unit got busy that could cause problems with people queuing out the door

The GP that I first saw seemed to give the impression that I was an inconvenience to their day, however that is the worst comment I can give for this department.

The Triage nurse was very efficient and he was aware that I was needing an x-ray and sorted that out quickly so that my waiting time in the department was cut short, they were friendly and polite

The X-Ray staff were also quick and efficient and friendly.

The final nurse that I saw was knowledgeable and friendly and quickly diagnosed the issues, gave relevant advice and treated the problem and I was on my way

All in all I was in the department less than 2 hours.

I particularly liked the fact that every member of staff introduced themselves with their first name and their role. It may be a little thing but I found it quite nice to have

Thank you for taking the time to post feedback about your experience at St George’s Hospital. Your words of appreciation about the way staff members communicated with you will be sent to the manager of the service;who in turn will inform the staff.

It is with regret that your experience with the GP was not as good.

All your comments will be conveyed back to the department.
