What I liked
My father was admitted to the Surgical Assessment Unit on 24 October as an emergency. At 91 he was understandably terrified at the prospect. The nurse was absolutely fantastic with him. They demonstrated great "people" skills and understanding and patience with a very frail old man. Their colleagues, and the doctor were also great. My family cannot thank them enough for the way they looked after our dad. Finally a big thanks also to the nurse on Ward 34 who looked after him until his discharge on Sunday 25th.
What could be improved
A little more privacy in A&E when examining a patient (it only involves pulling a curtain screen round!!!).
Anything else?
Nothing - everything and everyone else was/were great.
