"End of Life Care following a large stroke"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

We are extremely grateful for the care taken by the RBH of my wife's sister following a large stroke from which she did not recover.

Particularly to be singled out are: a) The doctor and their team who showed real care personally to explain what they and the team were doing and why and for the time the doctor took to do this, not just mechanically but with a very real concern for us and our needs as well as hers b) The chaplaincy team for the care and sensitivity they showed to my sister in law and ourselves.

Should others be faced with this situation, we cannot recommend highly enough the work of these two teams.
